Mill Pond Cleanup Draws Participants

Several groups, led by the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation, bore down on Mill Pond on the Wantagh-Bellmore border to help remove spatterdock and other invasive vegetation that clutters up the pond and shoreline every few years. Here, Hempstead Town Councilwoman
