Five Guys in Merrick Robbed

Nassau Police report a robbery that occurred in Merrick on Friday, November 13, at 11:15 p.m.

According to Seventh Squad detectives, two male suspects entered Five Guys located at 2099 Merrick Road, armed with handguns.  There was one male victim, 25 years of age, working in the store at the time of the robbery.  The suspects struck the victim in the head and demanded money before fleeing in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment to minor injuries.  No customers were present at the time of the incident.  The suspects are described as wearing ski masks, dressed in all black and displayed black revolvers.  One suspect described as 6’ 1”, 200 pounds, the other 5’ 7”, 130 pounds.
