Merrick Fast Break Store robbed in early morning

Nassau police are investigating a robbery that took place in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 30,  at a Fast Break Convenience store in Merrick.

According to First Squad detectives,  a white male, approximately 180 pounds, between 5’8” – 5’10” tall, wearing a black ski mask, black hoodie, black pants and black sneakers, entered a Fast Break Convenience store at 1066 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, at 1:30 a.m., displayed a black handgun and demanded money from the male employee. The robber then fled on foot with an unknown amount of U.S. currency.

At 1:59 a.m. the same alleged robber entered a 7-11 convenience store located at 713 Atlantic Avenue, Baldwin, displayed a handgun and demanded the money from the male employee. The robber then fled on foot eastbound on Atlantic Avenue with an unknown amount of U.S. currency. There were no injuries reported.
