Calhoun’s On Tour Company continued its season with a production of Harold Rome’s “Pins and Needles” on January 17-18 and 24-25.
Directed by Salvatore Salerno, “Pins and Needles” examines the 1930s through a pro-union outlook, documenting young workers as they make their way through an ever-changing landscape of culture and politics. In the original production, new songs and skits were introduced regularly to keep the show current. On Tour updated some of the 1930s references to those of the present day.
